The Dudipatsar lake is located in the Lulusar Dudipatsar National Park, in the extreme North of the Kaghan Valley.
As the striking, greenish blue lake is situated at a high altitude, its water is extremely cold. When translated into English, the name means very cold and thereby the place is a perfect depiction of the name. It is a popular spot in the summer season because of its low temperatures.
The place is deeply forested and the lush greenery provides a spectacular view in the warmer months. Popular fauna and flora of Thandiani include the Flying Squirrel, leopards, and Pine Marten.
