The Ministry of Shipping and Ports have come with the best solution. is going to have the first ever ferry service that will run between Karachi and Gwadar. This venture includes facilitation of cargo, passengers and special trips for tourists.

This trip from Karachi to will be inaugurated by the end of this month.In addition to the huge cargo containers, Gwadar port will now be a facilitator to around 400 tourists or passengers.

There are increased security measures taken around Gwadar port. This transport service is expected to be the fastest transport facility and will encounter the issues faced by regular travelers between the cities.

This is also a step ahead for reviving Baluchistan’s tourism. Apart from being a business center, there are several beaches as well as a small miracle island at the coast of Gwadar, Zalzala Koh.

The ferry will reach Gwadar in approximately 13 hours and will run 3 days a week including weekends. It will be a well-furnished ride with facilities like cafeteria and healthcare services.

The ferry journey will be supervised by Pakistan Maritime Security. This is the best option for Karachiites to take a short trip to Gwadar.

However, tourists from other cities can also easily travel to Karachi and take the ferry service to Baluchistan, just like Islamabad is a gateway to northern areas.
