Tourism in Pakistan
Travel and tourism are rapidly gaining success and increasing all over the world. Unfortunately, Pakistan is still not looking forward to taking the necessary steps to get something from its marvelous and breathtaking sites.
Though, it can become one of the massive sources of income for the government as it has vast and top-class tourist attractions that can be seen in beautiful lakes, Arabian sea, stunning Himalayan peaks, vast deserts, rich cultural villages, old civilizations (Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro) golden beaches of Makran, deep forests, and several man-made attractions. Pakistan is rich with unique four seasonal beauties.
If one side of Pakistan is filled with heavy snows, the other side has a warm climate where people could hardly bear the high temperatures. The fusion of all these areas has increased the tourism potential that still stays untapped.
Though Pakistan is full of beautiful and attractive places, the top sites that usually capture every tourist’s attention are Lake Saiful Malook, Karakoram Highway, Taxila Museum and several others. According to the World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report, Pakistan has been ranked amongst the top 25 countries in the world that are most eye-catching for tourism. Talking about Pakistani culture, including Pakistani Wedding, these places promote diverse cultures and every area has its own wedding traditions and styles that attract many tourists as well.
There are several Pakistanis who prefer beautiful sites of Swat, Kalam, Neelam Valley, Kaghan and Naran for their honeymoon trips. The summers are always crowded in these areas, but the keen adventurers do not restrict themselves to summer season rather they are more interested in visiting these in snowfall.
Some of the mountains, like Himalaya Hills, are mostly covered with snow throughout the year. Northern areas are a real charm of coldness for the people living in hotter areas. Some hot places have their own beauty and are popular for their civilization, for instance, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro.
These places are the asset of Sindhi culture and promote the Indus Valley Civilization. They are famous for antique jewelry, utensils, and several other items. The place is always crowded with domestic and foreign tourists and archeologists. Similarly, Taxila is famous to endorse the Gandhara Civilization.
Lahore has its own cultural value. is one of the magnificent places in the world where if one brick falls down, the other takes its place automatically. The beautiful Lahore Fort is an incredible piece of Mughal art; especially the stunning Sheesh Mehal is a spectacle that’s one of a kind.
The Mughal art is incomparable that are all handmade. The tourism industry of Pakistan is growing and will show commendable success if the government increases the security and invest more in the construction of malls, hotels, support transportation, local recreational sports and handicrafts industry and collaborating with foreign security associations. Visit Pakistan if you haven’t yet and enjoy the immense hospitality and exclusive experience it offers.
