Pakistan continues to take giant leaps towards tourism development with amazing steps being taken by the new government.

They've abolished NOC for foreign tourists and have recently launched a new E-Visa Policy It's clear that this new government is looking towards tourism being the driving force of this "Naya Pakistan" that they've envisioned, and we are definitely looking happy for it. Not only that, but the new conferences that have and will take place for even further promotion are more than welcomed and encouraged.

So we decided to show you guys the upcoming events that will be happening in Pakistan relative to tourism. It's a chance and an opportunity to improve the tourism sector and get people interested in its development. So here are some of the upcoming events The Pakistan Tourism Dialogue or PTD 2019 is being held in Islamabad throughout the 16th, 17th and 18th of April. The event is open for the general public and is the only one of its kind to bring forward the likes of tourism, hospitality stakeholders with International and local delegations. The aim? Sharing and conversing ideas that would promote a positive image of Pakistan as a tourism destination.

The conference will be focused on Pakistan’s hospitality and its quality of essence along with highlighting the complementary services that the industry has to offer. It'll be focusing on the following aspects of tourism: Sustainable Tourism in Pakistan Digital Tourism Tourism Investment Forum Bilateral Tourism Relationships Commute system of Pakistan tourism Opportunity to interact with Pakistani show casters Interactions with over 400+ delegations present at the event 5 Master classes are being arranged to help introduce different tourism concepts.

A competitive session will be held to encourage the passion for travel and adventure amongst students and the corporate sector with the objective of promoting the culture and traditions of Pakistan. "Pakistan Tourism Award" and “Tourism Short films" will provide the opportunity for all the filmmakers and provide recognition to all the reputed brands of Pakistan. The last date of application is 5th April 2019.

Tech Valley Conference Abbottabad 2019: Tech Valley has always had positive and welcomed discussion related to the tourism sector with the governments of the northern areas. They've taken it upon themselves to provide a platform for Tech, Tourism, and Trade. They return on the 20th April 2019 at Nathiagali Abbottabad.

This year's conference will revolve around creating sustainable job opportunities for people working in the tourism sector. This won't just open an ever increasing path for tourism to flourish, but also involve the technological side of the sector to our benefit. Another of their aim is to provide credible discussions for the government and private sectors to come together and build a strong foundation going forward.

Tech Valley Abbottabad is also setting up its very first Tourism Centre of Excellence, with the aim of promoting local startups in the tourism industry & encourage entrepreneurs to work and contributing to the bigger picture. Tech Valley believes that “Tourism Center of Excellence” is the next big thing and will be launched with all the stakeholders and policymakers across Pakistan.
